Discover how I found happiness by looking within and how meditation, journaling, and trust led me to my soul’s joyful path.
Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, “How did I get here?”
Recently, someone asked me how I got started doing what I do — and honestly, it feels like a lifetime ago.
When I first set out, I didn’t have some grand spiritual plan. I simply wanted to be happy. Somewhere along the way, I had lost my happy. I had all the trappings of a “good life” — the home, the job, the boxes checked — but something was still missing.
What I discovered as my spiritual journey unfolded was that happiness wasn’t something out there to find. It was something waiting quietly within me.
I began with meditation. Then journaling. Then I read — a lot. Bit by bit, little pieces came together like stepping stones on a path. With each step, I felt more connected, more alive, more me.
Today, my outer life might not look so different, but my inner world is vibrant. I found my happy — and in doing so, I found my Soul. It keeps me moving, skipping even, along this ever-unfolding path before me.
Most of it I can’t see, and yet I trust — with faith and a full heart — that it’s leading me somewhere really, really good.
If you’re seeking that same inner joy, know this: your path begins right where you are. One quiet breath. One journal entry. One whisper from your soul.
